Applied Identity joined the Microsoft Network Access Protection (NAP) Program
and is making targeted investments in select to be announced Vista and Longhorn
offerings. Network Access Protection decreases the risk of introducing viruses
from all computers that link to corporate networks through remote/external
access. As a member of the Network Access Protection program, Applied Identity
will build specific functionality into its ID-Enforce™ appliances and PolicyCAD™
policy development tools, which will push access control deeper into the network.
Using coming Network Access Protection technology with Applied Identity’s products,
customers can extend Microsoft solutions while reducing management costs and
complexity.

RSA SecurID technology and ID-Enforce interoperability enables organizations
to maximize network security by using their existing infrastructure to create
a secure and integrated pathway from authentication to the tracking and controlling
of individual user behavior on the network. Companies currently using RSA SecurID
technology to provide secure remote and mobile access to network resources
may now integrate with Applied Identity's technology to strengthen and improve
the efficiency of their internal supervision and surveillance functions, once
the user has been granted secure entry into the network.

TCG is a not-for-profit organization formed to develop, define, and promote open
standards for hardware-enabled trusted computing and security technologies, including
hardware building blocks and software interfaces, across multiple platforms,
peripherals, and devices. The primary goal is to help users protect their information
assets (data, passwords, keys, etc.) from compromise due to external software
attack and physical theft. As a contributor to TCG, Applied Identity will work
to improve the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and other specifications. TPM details
the use of silicon in client devices that store digital keys, certificates and
passwords, making them more difficult to attack virtually or physically. With
that silicon in broader use, Applied Identity will have another tool for a extending
its class-leading solutions that deliver identity-driven awareness for policy
